HELP! please. - application has deleted backups
Hi,
If there is a magic tool out there that can bring back my backups that this stupid application has kindly deleted for me. Please let me know.
I have never in my life seen an application that kills its own directories and files, and leaves it's process running. It has also killed all backup files and directories that were on disk.
If anyone has any ideas how to help me please let me know.
thanks

Re: HELP! please. - application has deleted backups
Hi Mario,
that magic tool is your backup command. Your only choice is restore the last backup you have on removable media. In situations like this you pray that there should have been a recycle bin as it is in windows. Is somebody from HP listening, we want a recycle bin in UX.
Sorry friend, you do not have any choice. I would like to meet the gentleman(lady) who wrote such a great application for you. Post his/her resume for us to be careful if we see it again.
Sorry once again. Bad luck.

ava Maria,
I think you had better pray for a minor miracle.....
You will need to restore from tape.
What backup application are you using???? Get hold
of one that WORKS!!!
Good Luck getting it back
