Help: Sendmail Error

Hi HP Gurus,

The error HOST1 SENDMAIL SYSERR (ROOT) keeps on displaying in my console. Any idea what could be the problem?

SENDMAIL SYSERR could be of various reasons.
check /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for the error description messages.

Further to above, sendmail typically logs to /var/adm/syslog/mail.log, although this is configurable - if you don't find such a file, check /etc/syslog.conf, which will contain the name and location of the mail log file.
