Hi
Can ypu help me please. I have a problem with HP-UX 10.2 i cant mount the floppy. I write the next command.
mount /dev/dsk/floppy /floppy
but not mount the floppy and say me the error "no such device or address".I dont know the system, please help me.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
This must be a very old system, because it still has a floppy ;-)
Please post the result of this commands first:
# model
# ioscan -fn
Let's try to find your floppy.
IIRC on a 700 system (a workstation) the device file is always /dev/floppy.
But this is probably different on a server.

Victory, use "SAM" (type in "sam"), and browse around through the hardware sub menus and use the tools in there to show you the device files.
I don't have a floppy, but it should be in:
"Disks and File Systems"
then "Disk Devices" - highlight the one that looks like your floppy from the description, and then got to "Actions" on the menu, and hit "View More Information".
Your device files for the floppy should be displayed.
