High RecID during Backup

Hi Guys.
I am also having the similer problem, I am using the following steps,
- Shut down DB
- Sync file system
- Split BC pairs
- Restart DB
- Do backup of split pairs
- Re-sync when backup completes.

I am using RMAN for all this stuff and after that I use to take hot database backup using RMAN on tape library for database and archive logs (in online mode), but after few backups say in the 2nd or 3rd backup I am getting the error 20035 (High RecID error) in the out file of backup scripts.
we use to remove the archive logs from the production server manuelly by note down the series from the BC Server, is it not the way to remove the archive logs ?
If anyone has face this problem and got any solution then please let me know.
We have database in TB's
