I am done setting up the hobbit server and seems like I need to have cc compiler on my clients to be able to install and monitor the clients , is there a workaround if I dont have cc/gcc on the clients.
Please share.
Thanks,
Allan.

Re: hobbit
sometimes the application need the compiler.
or if there is any program written in c or c++ language, they need cc/gcc compiler to run.

Re: hobbit
Thanks for responding Jeff, I got the compilation to work on one of the server which has cc/gcc, another problem I am facing is that bbproxy is not installed as I have firewall so I cannot connect to 1984. I have never configured bbproxy before. Please share your knowledge on that.
Thanks,
Allan.

Re: hobbit
Can you send a bbproxy binary if you have ...my compilations are failing. I think I just need the binary and then pass it some of my own paramters to make it work .
Thanks,
Allan.

Re: hobbit
Hi Jeff/Others,
I have finished setting up hobbit for linux and hp-ux clients but my solaris clients are not working/compiling due to several issues. Can you send me a hobbitlaunch binary for a solaris system.
Thx,
Allan.
