Honeyd scripts
Looking to find honeyd scripts for HP-UX protocols (FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMTP, SSH, and TELNET).
Would the scripts for testing the protocols connection be the same as those used by linux?

All I know about Honeyd is what I read just now at
http://www.honeyd.org/ , but ...

Sure, give or take. Have you looked at any of the contributed
scripts at http://www.honeyd.org/contrib.php ? (To me, they look pretty
old.) I took a quick look at the ftp.sh there. It looks as if anyone
with a little time on his hands could substitute some actual output from
the real HP-UX ftpd for what's in that script, if more realism is
desired.
Most of the break-in attempts I see around here are not very clever.
(For example, FTP attempts using different passwords for one user name,
when the error message was "no such user".) If your script-juveniles
are smarter than mine, or if high fidelity is important for some reason,
then more effort may be useful.
