Hi All,

Can anyone tell me the steps to change the hostname of a HP-UX 11.23 server.

#set_parms hostname

use the above command.

You can the hostanme using "sam" or mofify the /etc/rc.config.d/netconf file. However a said above the #set_parms hostname is the best way. Note the system will need to reboot.
