HP docs

Hi,

I manage to get a document which is about chapter 16 - LVM from internet (already forgot the link). It is very userful for the beginner like me. May I know where I can get the other chapters? Or any suitable materials or reference to learn the HP from the basic?

regards.

Re: HP docs

Hi,

try this one,

http://www.docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/5187-2216/5187-2216.html

go to the chapter "Administering a System: Managing Disks and Files "

Hope this helps,

Re: HP docs

"Chapter 16 - LVM"... you mean HP/UX Software Recovery Handbook?

Choose "navigate knowledge trees" from the itrc.hp.com main page. From there, go to "HP-UX Software Recovery Handbook". There are all the available chapters.

Note that the Handbook seems to be originally a HP internal document, so many links inside the Handbook refer to HP internal sites.

Re: HP docs

Hi all,

In order to access "navigate knowledge tree", I have either link to Support Agreements (Service Agreement IDs or System Handles) OR Warranties.

1) For Support Agreements
How I can get the service agreement ID or system handles?

2) For Warranties
How I can get the product number? I can find the serial number. My HP server model is rp7410.

regards.

Re: HP docs

Hello,

"Service Agreement IDs or System Handles"

They should be in your Contract support with HP.
