Hp-UX 111 v3 is not booting propley

Hi

  I am getting following issue when booting the hpux server.

Configure Loopback interfaces (lo0) ........................................(waiting/Busy )

“/opt/sec_mgmt/bastille/swLoopbackConfig.sh not present”

Anyone has a resolution for this ?

Is this the first time you've noticed this error?

Do you know if that file has ever existed?

You should check your backups and see if that file has been backed up in the past.  If it has, restore it and see what happens on the next reboot.

You can check /etc/rc.log.old  to check if you had get past the "Configuring loopback interface" in last boot or you had the same error: 

“/opt/sec_mgmt/bastille/swLoopbackConfig.sh not present” 

-  check the file :

# ls -l  /opt/sec_mgmt/bastille/swLoopbackConfig.sh

- Also to check: # swlist -l product | grep -i sec       # to check Bastille utility . 

- Further check if any changes happened recently,
