HP9000 evolution

As part of a project to update our operating environment, I need to know about
the evolution of the HP9000 Series 800 servers.

e.g.:
Model - Year released
845 - 1991

Could anybody tell me where to look for this information ?

You can use the command uname -a this will provide you system name, model and
HP-Ux Release. To have more information about the command use man.
