HPDPS client daemon not running

when I choose YES in SAM to start HPDPS client, the return code =1 showing failure.

Not a lot to go on here, but the hpdps software does not appear to be installed or configured correctly.

I'd run swverify \* to see if the install is correct.

If its okay, I'd then check the docs/configuration file to see if the basic first time setup was ever done.

my version is hp-11. HPDPS daemon has been installed and running until a week ago.

Before I did a reboot of the os ,I could still see the logical and physical printers but not after it.
