hpnpf (read bytes from socket)
Can anyone tell me what the cause was of the following message:
hpnpf (read bytes from socket): Connection reset by peer.
A file being printed at that time was reprinted for several times, till it was deleted.

Re: hpnpf (read bytes from socket)
I had this effect recently using Solaris 8/JetDirect E.10.34 with the Business InkJet 2600.
One unusual aspect was that the problem did not occur initially until the printer queue had been removed and added back again (with same configuration).
The problem was resolved by turning off True End of Job (-t off) in the addqueue command.
