HPVM migration to vpar using Ignite
I'd like to change my hpvm to vpar using ignite tape.(Ignite-UX version C.7.8.201)
Is there any consideration to restore guest OS to Npar?
Many thanks

Re: HPVM migration to vpar using Ignite
Few tings to think about.
HPVM considerations:
http://docs.hp.com/F5992-3355%2F5992-3355.pdf
Ignite version considerations:
http://docs.hp.com/en/5992-5804/ch03s04.html
All and all it looks like it is possible to do this.
Ignite is the tool to use for migrating HP systems from vm environment to vm environment.

Re: HPVM migration to vpar using Ignite
I got an error on "http://docs.hp.com/F5992-3355%2F5992-3355.pdf"
Anyway, all my worrying is that Npar OS may not boot after OS restoring for the trivial problem like missing driver.

Re: HPVM migration to vpar using Ignite
You need to install vPars software at the same time or install ignite image in nPar mode and install vPars software before booting back into vPars mode.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
