iCAP Activation Problem
Dear All,
There is a customer having an HP9000 HPUX server (Model: N4000, OS: HPUX 11.00) with icap v4 installed. Time has come to activate the rest of the 4 CPUs. We were about to generate the codeword but the audit snapshot info (icod_stat -s command was executed) is missing in order to complete all the steps. We are suspecting that the problem is the old version of the iCAP and the old OS version (HPUX 11.00). Please let me know if there is a workaround to activate these CPUs.
Regards

Re: iCAP Activation Problem
You might have run into a serious issue here, since the 11.00 is no longer supported and opening a call with HP support will avail you nothing.
What I would recommend is to discuss the OS upgrade with the customer.
