						Hi,
Please see the attached output.
In icapstatus what is this line says:
Number of cores that are deconfigured or attached to inactive cells: 6
In the npar 1, we need to have 8 active and 8 inactive. We have 2 vpars in that npar each of that needs to have 4 active and 4 inactive. How to acheive this?
Thanks,
Srini

I have executed icapmodify -a 2 in both the vpars. So it becomes active as 4 as expected. But the icactive core details not updated.
Local Virtual Partition Status
------------------------------
Total number of assigned cores: 4
Number of active assigned cores: 4
Number of inactive assigned cores: 0
Additional cores that can be assigned with current usage rights: 4
Number of cores that could be assigned with additional usage rights: 2
Number of cores that can be assigned with temporary capacity: 2
Number of cores that are deconfigured or attached to inactive cells: 6
Can anyone please help me how to make the icap cores to inactive i.e.
Number of inactive assigned cores: 4
Thanks,
Srini

Local Virtual Partition Status
------------------------------
Total number of assigned cores: 4

Number of inactive assigned cores: 0
Additional cores that can be assigned with current usage rights: 0
Number of cores that could be assigned with additional usage rights: 4

Local nPartition Status
-----------------------
Total number of configured cores: 16

I am really worried about the line
Number of cores that are deconfigured or attached to inactive cells: 4
What does it mean?
