Hi all,
Would u please advice me whether a reboot is required to activate icod cpus after appying the code words.Please see the attached errors
/usr/sbin/icod_modify -a 2
ERROR: Unable to satisfy the request for 8 active processors.
6 processors are now active, and 10 processors are specified
to be active after the next reboot.

normally the instruction would have come with the codeword.

Hi,
try ioscan and insf -e which will search for new hardwares and try to use it and check the processor state whether it is calaimed or no HW.
