IDS/9000 error

IDS/9000 Ver.2 is producing the
following error messages

MI_readNextMessage: AIPC_status_high failed: Lockf deadlock detection

These messages consume hundreds of MB in /var/opt/ids

Anybody any ideas ??

Make sure PHKL_18543 is installed on the machine. If not include it in the same depot as the following patches.
PHKL_21351

PHKL_21353
PHKL_21356
PHKL_21359

PHKL_21363
PHKL_21608
PHKL_22677
PHKL_22840

Re: IDS/9000 error

FYI

The lockf error is a known problem which has a fix.

However, we are still exploring the underlying problem which causes this defect to surface, as well
as confirming that the lockf
fix is complete.

We have not been able to reproduce the problem in our lab unfortunately, but have a couple of customers who are running debug versions of idscor to give us a trace.

When the underlying problem has been fixed, we will
annonce when and how the fix
for lockf and the underyling problem will be made available.

thanks,
Pierre
