Ignite backup
Hello,
I am trying to give the ignite backup task to opertors. But they dont have the root access.
I have put all the make_tape_recovery command in a script and put small backup menu.
Users dont want to put this in the Cron and they have to manually controlle it.
How can I do this this?
OS Version 10.20
D-Class
Thanks

Re: Ignite backup
You can try with restricted SAM menu.
Operators can run Ignites by using sam (root permissions).

Re: Ignite backup
Shalom,
Try make_tape_recovery command in a script, and give them execution rights on the script.
You could try installing sudo on the system, but for an out of support system like this, I'd be hard pressed to find you a source other than compile it yourself.
