tape from another server I get a message
about:
boot disk hardware path does not match
boot disk hardware path on tape. Since
use_alternate_boot_drive_path=fales not further
attempt will be done to install.
Or something to that effect. Where is this
flag set for make_tape_recovery? The two
servers are different hardware but I wanted
to see if I can test the ignite tape.

This is really different hardware.
Interrupt the boot process while ignite is starting and try to interact with ignite to adjust the target settings.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
