ignite creating bootable tape

On a system running hpux 10.20. ignite is loaded, there is a config file made by make_sys_image. this file is located in a directory called golden, the the config file is called myconfig. we would like to create a bootable tape to be used to boot and configure another system of the same type and harware configuration.
i'm reading the manual but i do not understand what i have to modify in the config file to generate the tape. It also talks about config files, there is only one.

if i run make_medialif and then use dd to tape will this work? do i have to move the myconfig file to a different location.
i'm needing some help to get started.

This should work. See attached script vg00 only.
