We currently have rx8640's and potentially could have some Integrity Blades coming into play here in the future. We have Ignite Golden Images that we use for building out the OS on the rx8640 and we're wondering if we should have machine specific Golden Images for an Integrity Blade or if that is even necessary?
Could anyone shed any light on issues to expect if any, if we were to try to use an rx8640 image on a blade?
Thanks,
KPS

Solution
Shalom,
Golden images should work between rx type systems. Though not totally hardware independent they are LESS hardware independent.
This should work but you need to test it.
There will be at most an extra boot to deal with hardware differences.
