I checked the Ignite logs on one of our 11.0 boxes and it looks like the date/time stamp is correct. I think Patrick is right. Maybe the file is just old?

Solution1. I would suggest to install latest version of Ignite-UX on your machine, before that please remove all old ignite-ux versions installed on your machine.
2. Check your system time, if it is correct.

look at the log files there.
We need to know what file you are looking at to help.
You should be able to compare tape contents to system to verify correct run.
Logfile should have a good date.
Try this:
/opt/ignite/bin/make_tape_recovery -Av -x inc_entire=vg00 > /tmp/ignite.log
This will verify success.
