ignite question

Hi All,

I have a new server ignited .
It was done by using bootsys from ignite server.
Now I want to know from which image the server was ignited.I have multiple images on the server.

Which log I need to verify for this on the ignited server.

Regards

Re: ignite question

Hmm...interesting!

Just restore one of the file using pax, first you will have to do mt -f /dev/rmt/0mn fsf 1, and then using pax you can restore the file like hosts and check it..

Re: ignite question

Do you have multiple images of the same OS version or different OS version on this Ignite server? Probably from that you could say!

Re: ignite question

swlist -a install_source HPUXBase64

(HPUXBase64 is the product name for core OS. It may differ in case of mission critical os, core os, entriprise ready os)

Hope this helps.

By the way, IS THIS BAIJU???

Re: ignite question

On the client you installed look in /var/opt/ignite/local/config and see what config was set to true.
