Ignite server for Software installation from depots

Hi,

Can somebody help me to configure ignite server to deploy a complilers for around 200 hp itanium servers.

Do you want to install just a software depot to the 200 systems? Do don't need ignite for this.
Just swcopy the depot to 1 server and run swinstall to install it to other servers.

example

swinstall -s @

usually it is a good idea to run an swreg prior to launching swinstall processes via push or pull from/to a remote server

copy your depot file(s) to a server accessible by all other 200 machines. Let's say this server is called "mother" in a directory called /software_depot

login to mother as root
swreg -l depot /software_depot/mycompiler.depot

then you can either follow Torsten's push method, or you can install from each server, pulling from this remote depot

on the remote servers, execute something like

swinstall -s mother:/software_depots/mycompiler.depot

but i need to configure all the client in the ignite server & need to install the s/w or patch by jus selecting the client.
