Ignite Ux Based Os installation on Itanium Server
1.We have configured rx2620 server with HPUX 11.23 and created the image and confired as Ignite server.
2.edited /etc/boottab and specified the mac address of client and Client Ip adress.
3.Edited /etc/inedtc.conf and uncommeted bootps and instl_boots
4.When we boot the client and interupt the Efi Shell menu
Efi Shell>lanboot select
It displays 2 card.
When i select the card 01.
It displays as follows.
CLIENT IP: 192.168.1.10 MASK: 255.255.255.0
DHCP IP: 192.168.1.20 PROXY IP: 192.168.1.20
Press [F8] to Select a boot option:
PXE-E21: Remote boot cancelled.
Exit status code: Invalid Parameter
What will be the issue.

Re: Ignite Ux Based Os installation on Itanium Server
Create a DBPROFILE in EFI shell with the ignite servers info.
Then lanboot select -dn myprofile

Re: Ignite Ux Based Os installation on Itanium Server
thanks for the replies,
I would explain in more detail about the problem.
1.We had working Ignite server with DHCP enabled.
2.The problem facing setup was another ignite server (Configured Ip in /etc/bootptab no DHCP configured) in the same environment.
3.On Ignite Clinet When I press enter on Core lan Gb Ait searches and It gets IP from /etc/bootptab and also from DHCP enabled Ignite Server. This leads to confudion
How to overide the DHCp enabled Ignite server and boots in the newly configured ignite server.

Re: Ignite Ux Based Os installation on Itanium Server
Check documentation for dbprofiles.
When you have such profile your client won't search for DHCP Ignite servers and will contact that one, mentioned in the profile.
Otherwise client will send DHCP requests and will get entries from old server.
