Ignite
Hello,
I have an issue when I want to install a workstation from an ignite server.
After running the "boot lan install" command, the workstation goes in CPU panic and we have the following error :
"unidentified CPU type returned from PDC module"
The workstation is a C3700 with a PA-8700 RISC processor. We want to install a HP-UX 11.00.
Does anyone have an idea ?
Thanks.

Re: Ignite
Check your Ignite version.
You want to be at a minimum level of B.3.5.
Version B3.6 is current.
This is one application that you want to keep up to date as new system support is added frequently.
Check your installed version:
# cat /opt/ignite/Version
# swlist -l fileset |grep -i ignite
Download Ignite from:
http://www.software.hp.com/products/IUX/download.html
Also, the C3700 would be built with a HP-UX 11.0 July 2001 Release & PHKL_24484 (according to http://www.hp.com/workstations/products/unix/cclass/c3700/summary.html)
Cheers,
Cheryl
