Ignite
Hi,
I'm trying to make an Ignite image of my server. It completed successfully, however, it gave me a message.
NOTE: The following files are in the list of files that were on the system, but they are no longer present. These files are not include in the backup:
/usr/lib/ignite_bootlif
I'm concerning that the tape might not work if and when I need to use it because it's missing the bootlif.
Please let me know how to correct this problem.
Thanks,
Remy Chau

Re: Ignite
Hi,
Try these:
a) Update to the latest Ignite-UX software
b) Install all patches
c) Use make_tape_recovery if you are using make_recovery now.

Re: Ignite
Hi:
There is a known problem with HP-UX 11.0 and 11.11 Ignite products version B.3.7.95 (June 2002). The problem involves the LIF creation and is resolved by patches PHSS_27407 for 11.0 and PHSS_24706 for 11.11.
Technical Knowledge Database #UIUXGD001 announced the problem.
Regards!
