inbcheckrc

sometimes i lost my conection with my hp-ux 10.01 so i need to go in person and i found the "inbcheckrc" prompt in the server... what is this "inbcheckrc"??? how do i fix this?? is this a dangerous problem? is a problem? i don't know anything about this.. if someone can point me some reading or give me a clue.. tnxs in advance

Note: the servers are very old, Pentium 75hz, 16mb ram...

Where exactly do you find the 'inbcheckrc' prompt? On your hp-ux box or on you Wintel servers?

Hi Guido:

I suspect that you are actually stuck in /sbin/bcheckrc (or its link /etc/bcheckrc).

The script does a filesystem check and does an EISA config check as well.

I suspect you need to come up in single-user and manually check each filesystem using fsck.

By the way, whatever HP box you have, if it's running HP-UX, it ain't got no Pentium.
