increase RAM for a process
I am running a server for which i need to allocate java heapsize of more than 3GB. But it does not allow me to give more than 3GB to the java heap size. I have a 32GB RAM. Can anyone help me in how to increase this to more than 3GB

Actually the OS was taking only 32bit and we changed it to 64bit and its working..
