Information on Missing Filesets
In IBM AIX, in order to know the current OS maintenance level, administrator simply run oslevel -r.
In HP-UX, correct me if I am wrong we run
swlist -l bundle |grep -i qpk
OR
swlist -l bundle |grep Gold
From itrc where then can we verify the above results for currency?
Thanks n Regards/cliff

Re: Information on Missing Filesets
swlist -l bundle |grep Gold
One can also use
swlist -i
in an interactive way.
One can also use /opt/ignite/bin/print_manifest

Re: Information on Missing Filesets
You're correct!
swlist command will give you the answer as you know completely
either what version of quality pack patches are installed or GOLD Application and Base pathes are installed in the machine.
The output depends on what version of hp-ux is running in the server.
Best regards

Re: Information on Missing Filesets
If you look in the left-hand column of ITRC it includes the link "maintenance and support for hp products." One of the categories listed on that page is "patching" and among the items you can select in that section are:
├В┬╗ standard patch bundles - find patch bundles
├В┬╗ custom patch bundles - run a patch assessment
Hopefully these two tools will help you locate what your looking for.
