install btlan5 driver from CD
I am trying to install the btlan5 driver from the hp-ux 11.0 application software cd disk 1.
How the heck do you do it?!!!
I mount cdrom, but I can not find the depot. It lists all directories but swinstall does not recognise any depots on the cdrom.
Secondly the machine I want to install it on is across town, I thought I would be able to copy the A5230A folder over and swreg it, but swreg or swinstall does not find any depots on the cd. The A5230A is empty.

Re: install btlan5 driver from CD
Hi,
If you put in the cdrom and start swinstall interactive, and you select cdrom for media type you will see the cdrom. To copy the software start swcopy interactive ( it works the same way as swinstall) and select a depot on the remote server as target.
