Install hp-ux on superdome

Dear All
These days my company buy a hp superdome.
Is there any document about installing the OS on this kind of server.
before that I was working with rp and rx serries...

There is no difference to any other rx-server, just boot the installer dvd and follow the installer GUI.

You need to connect an external DVD or use an ignite server, install the OS onto external disks or SAN LUNs.

I'm sure you will order some external devices for your server ...

My first experience with the larger servers was creating the genesis partition before installing hpux. Im not sure how they are set up from the factory?

basically now a days any new SD is in a standard way oredred with the OS Installed and the OS config as the basic IP and kernel reqs suffuced as per ur needs. It comes along with the OS installed. all u need is Connect the IOS with the cabinet as per the numbering of the cables, do a proper Power site check and Zink Whisker test of this the First SD in the data center and if all is fone power on and get going.

But if you are about to order a superdome, hp will surely assist you. Together you will create an implementation plan and finally you can get an fully installed solution including all partitioning and OS installation already customized for your needs. Ask hp for assistance.

Are you saying your Superdome is on the export restriction list and can't be exported to Iran?
