hi guys,
i am trying to install tcpdump network sniffer. I downloaded needed depots.(libpcap and openssl)
I installed libpcap, but before install openssl i saw that i have installed openssl depot(i think produced by HP).
root@server#swlist -l fileset openssl
# Initializing...
# Contacting target "server"...
#
# Target: server:/
#
# openssl A.00.09.07-d.002 Secure Network Communications Protocol
openssl.OPENSSL-CER A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Certs Files
openssl.OPENSSL-CONF A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Configure File
openssl.OPENSSL-DOC A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Document Files
openssl.OPENSSL-INC A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Header Files
openssl.OPENSSL-LIB A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Library Files
openssl.OPENSSL-MAN A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Manual pages
openssl.OPENSSL-MIS A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Miscellaneous Files
openssl.OPENSSL-PRNG A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Prng Files
openssl.OPENSSL-PVT A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Private Files
openssl.OPENSSL-RUN A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Executable Files
openssl.OPENSSL-SRC A.00.09.07-d.002 OpenSSL Source Files
Is there any way to force tcpdump depot to use that openssl version without install another one.

Solution
If you have OpenSSL from HP, why not use TCPdump from HP as well. It's part of the Internet Express bundle that you can download for free here:

Re: install tcpdump
Ostensibly the configure script for tcpdump would be checking for openssl and using whichever it happened to find, if any. You only really need the openssl stuff if you intend to try to trace and decode ssl/ipsec like things.
