Installing A5506B driver
I got HP-UX B.11.00 A 9000/800 and a quad nic card which I would like to combine :)
Earlier I posted a message on how to find the driver, and I found it in the application cd 1.
however, when I mark it to install on swinstall I got a message about problem to find it's depends:

Re: Installing A5506B driver
Hi Liadi,
Did you read the message carefully? It may have said that it will check the target (ie, the server) to see if those dependencies exist.
Can you post the install session from the swagent.log that shows the messages.
Cheers!!

Re: Installing A5506B driver
First of all I realy appreciate your quick answer. I digged ib the logs and in agent.log (of swinstall) the following lines appear:
* Beginning Analysis Phase.
* Source: qaora1hp:/mnt/cdrom
* Target: qaora1hp:/
* Target logfile: qaora1hp:/var/adm/sw/swagent.log
* Reading source for product information.
ERROR: File "/mnt/cdrom/catalog/dfiles/_BKF": No such file or
directory (2). Cannot copy it to file
"/var/tmp/CAAa02615/catalog/dfiles/_BKF".
ERROR: File "/mnt/cdrom/catalog/dfiles/_BOM": No such file or
directory (2). Cannot copy it to file

ERROR: Cannot open source. Check above for errors, as well as the
daemon logfile on the source host (default location:
/var/adm/sw/swagentd.log).
ERROR: Cannot continue the Analysis Phase until the previous errors
are corrected.
in the swinstall.log it only say:
* Beginning Analysis
* The target "qaora1hp:/" failed Analysis, so the task cannot be
executed. For more information on this failure, press the
"Logfile ..." button.
* A file I/O error has occurred on this system. Make sure that
you have enough disk space in the directory used for temporary
disk files. This directory is usually "/usr/tmp" or "/tmp".
* "qaora1hp:/": This target agent failed contacting or
retrieving information from the source. Ensure that the
daemon is running on the source host, that the source is not
being updated currently, that the source is registered, and
that you (and the target host, if it is remote) have read
permission for the products on the source. The source's
swagent.log file may contain more information.
