Installing flexlm licensed software
Hi everybody,
i have a problem installing a flexlm licensed software on my C3700 WS. The installer reads the license.dat file and installs only the components that are licensed in this file. My problem is now that i do not have the license.dat file with all features, just a small one which directs to a network license server. The result is that the installer installs just the license free parts of the software.
Now my question: Is it possible to read the license server with lmstat, lmdiag or any other tool to rebuild the complete license.dat file including the features?

Re: Installing flexlm licensed software
Shalom,
My experience is you must contact the vendor and rebuild.

Re: Installing flexlm licensed software
Hi,
if you have a network license server, why don't you install sw there, export this directory and mount this directory to your second ws?
