SolutionHi Ronald,
You need to run program called 'swinstall'
as the root user. Once inside the program
select the Source Depot usually "Local CDROM"
Soure path /cdrom or where you have your
cd mounted.
Press ok to start. Once started the software
will appear on the screen. Select the
B3693AA_TRY Trial HP GlancePlus/UX for s800 11.0
Highlight it by pressing enter.
Select Actions --> mark for install
Select Actions --> mark for installation.
The reset is pretty straight forward.
Hope this helps.

Re: installing HP Glance
Hi,
Assume you have mounted the CD in /cdrom directory.
Then # swinstall
will lead you to a motif menu, then there you have to select the souce type by using using the space bar and arrow keys for selection, once you have selected "Local CDROM" then use tab key to go to "OK" and enter on the same.
Then the screen will show all the software bundles in the CD, where you will be able to see the Glance Plus and select the same by pressing the space bar key on the line. Then go for ations --> install enter
Thats it it will analyse the system to have installed the same and the next screen will propmt you for the final proceed signal. Press OK here
Thats it y uo are done.
Cheers
Mathew
