Re: Installing HPUX on Client from Ignite
I have followed the Ignite Quick start guide.
Do i have to modify something with "locale" ?
With respect to my problem, my client is getting image from the Ignite server, but HP-UX installation welcome screen is not showing properly.

Re: Installing HPUX on Client from Ignite
You should be able to via putty or a Linux workstation, log into the systems ILO/GSP card and start a network installation.
You have met the basic requirements, because the Ignite Interface has come up.
It appears to me you need only choose a primary network interface, software options and proceed.

Re: Installing HPUX on Client from Ignite
On the client, I have logged through iLO over the network, gone to EFI shell, created a direct boot profile, issued the lanboot command with that profile, choosen the network interface card, choosen the HP-UX os to instll, INSTALL* files copied and memory initialized, then the Ignite welcome screen appeared.
This Ignite/HP-UX installation welcome screen is appearing not in a proper way.
