Installing Webmin

Hi there --

I was planning on installing Webmin on one of our servers, and just wanted to know if there was a depot file for the program or should I install from source. Thanks.

If you're running HP-UX 11.x at least OEUR 12/03 upwards -- then your HPWS (HP WEB Server) bundle should alrady have it. If not download/update your HP Web server bundle from software depot.

Specifically:

http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductsList.do?groupName=HP-UX+Apache-based+Web+Server

Then simply edit /etc/rc.config.d/ for the perminent files so the rc scripts will work.

And after you've started the services the default homepage should give you Webmin access details as well as practically all info you need regaridng your install and other useful documentation.
