Re: Inventory.

Hi Rahul:

I have no idea what a 30(xp)Machine is. There are XP disk arrays though.

Here are some hp-ux commands you should know, presumming that you're on an hp-ux box:

# model (* id's the mode of the box *)
# /opt/ignite/bin/print_manifest > /tmp/manifest.output (* inventories the server and lists out peripheral devices and then redirects the output into /tmp/manifest.output. Note: Presumes that you have the Ignite Application installed. *)

Welcome to HP ITRC forum....Ur just creates today ITRC ID.

BTW, I will inform U here all of HP-UX (HP UNIX) system expert, but some of the GURU's are multiple platform expert.

If Ur know XP (Microsoft Windows) then U just try to this way:-

==> Sing in ITRC forum then click left side "Forums" icon then U choose "Microsoft" then choose "Windows XP" and open new thread.

If Ur know XP (XP Disk Array) the U just try to this way:-

==> Sing in ITRC forum then click left side "Forums" icon then U choose "Storage" then choose "disk array" and open new thread.

Instead of opening a new thread, we can ask the moderators to move it. Ask in this thread:http://forums.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1245248
