ioscan

My server is connected to a SAN and I have configured a disk on the server witch is located on the SAN. If I do a ioscan I see the disk and it is CLAIMED.

I then removed the disk from the system and also deleted the lun on the SAN. Now if I do a ioscan is still see the disk, but it says NO_HW.

I understand all of this but would like to know how to remove the disk witch I pick up in the ioscan. [ If I do a ioscan I doint want to see anything other then what is there ].

Thanks in advance

Re: ioscan

You have to remove the hardware path

e.g. If I have a LUN on hardware path like below I can remove it using the 'rmsf' command. Once this is done the hardware will disappear.
0/4/0/0.3.25.0.0.0.0

# rmsf -H 0/4/0/0.3.25.0.0.0.0

Anyone for a Mutiny ?
