IPCS query

Are there any system overheads with using IPCS queues being called through GCI as apposed to using named pipes?

Any help or information welcome.

Michael,

I think you need to be some more specific to get valid answers. I personally don't known anything about IPCS queues. I only know the command ipcs(1), which is a tool to list the status of IPC facilities.

Do you talk about message queues?
