I'm trying to install IPv6 on 11.11 box...
My problems:
I downloaded IPv6NCF11i_B.11.11.0705_HP-UX_B.11.11_32+64.depot from the site.
It has two patch requirements according to docs:
* Cumulative Transport Transition patch PHNE_35351
* Cumulative STREAMS Transition patch PHNE_35453
When i try to install 35351, i can't even do swcopy with all the dependencies. I'm attaching error message log...
All latest patch bundles were installed on the server. I'm not sure how to find PPP-UPDATE that it says it's missing..and other filesets.
Thanks!
Asya

Re: IPv6 patch issues
If you get patches from itrc.hp.com patch database, you need to include dependencies in your download unless you confirm that each and every dependency listed on the site is already installed. Best to include them anyway, they won't re-install
I suspect the patch depot you downloaded was wrong or you excluded one or more dependencies.
The message you get is standard.

Solution>I get those error messages trying to install PHNE_35351 patch..
You should swcopy PHNE_35351 & PHNE_35453 into the same depot and install both at once.
And if you can, swcopy your IPv6 patch there and install all 3 at once.

Re: IPv6 patch issues
You only listed 8 that were excluded, were the rest already installed?
>I will try installation with dependencies=false....
That may be dangerous. You must first try installing the 3 filesets then try again with IPV6AA & MobileIPv6.
>ERROR: The dependencies for fileset "IPV6AA.IPV6-ALL,r=B.04.00"
cannot be resolved (see previous lines).
What was on the previous lines? That seems to have started the error ball rolling.
