Is it possible to install additional software?

If I build a system with a base core install is it then possible to install additional components from the core OE depot if I only went with the default *(simple)* installation?

Yes, at least in some cases, I do this regularly. For example, our common denominator here is the EOE so my golden image is based on the EOE, and for systems which have MCOE licences I just install from the core depot any additionnal software I need such as ServiceGuard. Every dependency is pulled from the core depot.

This is always possible that is compatible with the insatalltion criteria of ur system that is that mathces the OS Version and release.
