But when I test wget I get the following error
/usr/lib/dld.sl: Unresolved symbol: libintl_bindtextdomain (code) from ./wget
I research the forum and tried several things but still having problems.
when I do a ldd on wget I get the following
Tahoe: /usr/local/bin ldd ./wget
/usr/lib/libc.2 => /usr/lib/libc.2
/usr/lib/libdld.2 => /usr/lib/libdld.2
/usr/lib/libc.2 => /usr/lib/libc.2
/usr/local/lib/libcrypto.sl => /usr/local/lib/libcrypto.sl
/usr/lib/libdld.2 => /usr/lib/libdld.2
/usr/local/lib/libssl.sl => /usr/local/lib/libssl.sl
/usr/lib/libdld.2 => /usr/lib/libdld.2
/usr/local/lib/libcrypto.sl => /usr/local/lib/libcrypto.sl
/usr/local/lib/libintl.sl => /usr/sybase/OCS-12_5/lib/libintl.sl
I am running HP-UX 11.11 on a RP5470

Things to check:
1)LD_PATH and SHLIB_PATH
2)Try to load a different version.
3)I know there are dependencies for the product also.

Try to use Opensource version of Libintl than /usr/local/lib/libintl.sl => /usr/sybase/OCS-12_5/lib/libintl.sl
You can download it from, http://hpux.connect.org.uk/hppd/hpux/Development/Libraries/libiconv-1.10/

That version of wget never worked for me. A time bomb made up of bits and bytes. The previous version worked well for me though.
I tried compiling the source and that did not go well.
