Re: Itanium
Usually you can find the software on HP-UX CD application.
HP aC++ is not a free software. Check the url below for more details :
http://h20293.www2.hp.com/portal/swdepot/displayProductInfo.do?productNumber=B3913DB
Hope this can help you.
Cheers,
AW

Re: Itanium
refer to this:
http://h21007.www2.hp.com/dspp/tech/tech_TechSoftwareDetailPage_IDX/1,1703,1743,00.html
search for 05.57 which refers tu to a patch download.

Re: Itanium
Since the software is not a free software, it's better you call HP representative sales for the particular HP aC++/C version that you want.
From what i know, the latest version always with the fixes from the old version.
Hope this can help you.

AW

Re: Itanium
Hp aC++ is free if you are a member of DSPP program, ( see http://www.hp.com/dspp ).
But I think you aren't a dspp member, are you?

Re: Itanium
Thanks for your reply
what i have now on my server is:

what i need is to upgrade to A.05.57,
should i buy a license or there is a patch for upgrade ?
because in the HP site they said that i should have A.05.55 version, to be able to upgrade to A.05.57.

Re: Itanium
In order to get A.05.57, you need to install A.05.55 first (or upgrade your version to A.05.55). After that, you need to apply the patches that mentioned at this url below :
http://h21007.www2.hp.com/dspp/tech/tech_TechSoftwareDetailPage_IDX/1,1703,1743,00.html
But for license, you need to contact HP first to find out whether you can get the license on A.05.55 free or need to pay for this (since you already have the version A.05.50).
Hope this information can help you.
Cheers,
AW
