whenever i try to get "Java 2 Standard Edition J2SE Software Development Kit version of 1.5.0_08" the sun site that comes back is pointing to JDK ver 5 or JDK ver 6, does anyone have the url that will get me the 1.5.08 version ?

Solution
Personally, I get my Java from the HP site, but they have the same numbering problems as the Sun site (I think Sun don't count too good).
http://www.hp.com/go/java
It's my understanding that ver 5 is 1.5.whatever.

Pete is correct. Java 5.0.0.8 is the same as 1.5.0_08.
