Java core dumps if not executed from other directories
Hi,
I have just upgraded java from ver. 1.2 to 1.3 on HP-UX 11 on and when I run it from the installed dir, it is fine.
If I try to run it from any other dir. it produces a core dump, even though the I have the path set.

Re: Java core dumps if not executed from other directories
Hi,
Pls check the following environment variables.
PATH
CLASSPATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH (if you r on solaris )
Check the permissions of the current directory as well.
Check where does the /usr/bin/java executable is pointing to. (if it is a soft link to /usr/jdk1.3/bin/java .. or something similar).
Hope this helps...
Regards'
Suhas.
