Only this has support for 11i.

We are currently migrating Oracle 8.1.6 from N-class (HP-UX 11.00) to rp 4440 (HP-UX 11.11). I had installed jdk1.3 but ORacle doesn't seem to recognize.

which executable you are using for the migration?

Are u doing a installation?

Yes, it is a fresh installation from the old CD. Actually is ORacle Financial Application.

check the oraparam.ini file with Oracle.
If you have it,change it to the right java path for to start the installation

What is this JDK requiered for ? Oracle server comes with a JRE 1.1.8 from IBM which is not the same as SUN one. You may have a look at those CDs.
