Can anyone confirm what the maxio is for a JFS filesystem? I thought it is 128kb on HP-UX 11 64 . Any ideas ?

Re: JFS: Max IO ?
Max IO ? Im not sure what you mean by this. A JFS filesystem can have a blocksize from 4k-32768k, but this is not Max IO. The maximum amount of IO that a filesystem can handle is down to how fast your disk subsystem is.

Re: JFS: Max IO ?
I find this in oracle metalink donno does this is answer or not ?
----------
Hi,
Yes the maxio size is 256k on HP 11.0.
You can search Metalink for key words
"256k, hp, db_multi_block_read_count" to find similar information.
