Kernel settings: ksi_send_max and ksi_alloc_max

Hello!

Here is a question for kernel gurus. I am curious about 2 kernel settings which a vendor wants us to change.

I have read the documentation for these settings.
Can someone briefly explain how these values affect the system and what potential downside if i bump it up as suggested by the vendor. As usual, the vendor doesn't have a good explanation of why it needs to be increased.

ksi_send_max = 32
ksi_alloc_max = 19360 (nproc*8)
